Kiln to Cart Privacy Policy

Kiln to Cart is an invite-only inventory app for potters. This policy describes what data the app collects and how it is used.

What we collect

• Account information — the email address you register with. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes.
• Your inventory — the pottery records you create and the photos you upload. Photos are stored with our storage provider, Cloudflare R2.
• Marketplace connections (optional) — if you connect an Etsy or Meta (Instagram/Facebook) account, we store the access tokens needed to act on your behalf, encrypted at rest. We never see or store those account passwords.
• Usage data — basic in-app activity events (for example, that a photo analysis ran), stored in our own database to operate and improve the service.

What we don't do

• No advertising and no third-party tracking or analytics SDKs.
• We do not sell your data or share it with data brokers.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.

How your data is used

Solely to provide the service: storing and displaying your inventory, generating listings, and syncing with marketplaces you have connected. Photos you submit for AI-assisted analysis are processed by our AI provider for that purpose only.

Retention and deletion

Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. To delete your account and all associated data, email us at the address below and we will do it promptly.
